Considering the fact that major part from our products are individually hand-made, all the sizes must be considered as estimates, and the small imperfections and the light variations of color or the conception of elements must be taken into account. All our products are guaranteed authentic, natual, and of Peruvian origin.

The alpaca

The alaca is a mammal herbivore belonging to the family of the Camelidae of Latin America including llama, vicuna.

The fiber of alpaca is one of the natural fibers of the finest to the world of animal origin and Peruvian. Thanks to its big thermal capacity it is possible to make light pieces for the cold seasons. The fiber of alpaca is strong, resistant, sweet and delicate in the touch.
One of the advantages of the wool of alpaca is that it can be weared by the persons having a sensitive skin ; indeed, this wool does not give an allergy and does not prick the skin.

Although you will not feel at once the heat by wearing a garment in alpaca, the fiber of alpaca will not let with you lose the body heat and you will never feel cold. It is because the fiber of alpaca is hollow, thus the light keeps heat. However, when the fiber of alpaca is mixed with other fibers it loses its thermal properties. The fiber of alpaca lets settle neither the water nor the dust : if you wear a poncho of alpaca, you will never become wet.
